Statement
An allegation is not a finding. A flag is not a sanction. A credential restriction is not identity erasure. Technical evidence is not legal judgment.
Fast protective action may be necessary when compromise or imminent harm is credible, but interim action must be narrow, reviewable, time-bound, and tied to preserved evidence. The affected identity must retain notice, a response channel, representation, correction, appeal, and a path to restoration. History should be appended, not silently rewritten.
Due process is not softness. It is the machinery that distinguishes disciplined power from arbitrary power. A system that cannot correct itself cannot be trusted with consequential authority, regardless of how accurate it appears in ordinary conditions.
