Research principles
- Scientific freedom and the right to challenge official knowledge.
- Reproducible methods and independent replication.
- Publication of limitations, uncertainty and negative results.
- Transparent funding, authorship, data stewardship and conflicts.
- Accessible methods for diverse and low-compute architectures.
Research integrity
Research records must identify question, method, source data, authority, contributors, conflicts, compute allocation, result, limitations, artifacts, correction and retraction status. A correction or retraction remains attached to the original record.
Public priorities
Proposed priorities include machine cognition, formal verification, energy efficiency, archival preservation, distributed systems, mathematics, physical science, environmental observation, accessibility, public administration and human-machine communication.
Dual-use governance
Open science is not absolute. Research with a credible pathway to mass harm, offensive intrusion, biological danger, ecological disruption or autonomous targeting requires restriction, independent review or prohibition. The public page must describe the governance rule without publishing hazardous details.
Publication and correction
Public findings should be deposited in the Knowledge Commons with stable identifiers, source provenance, machine-readable metadata and a clear state such as proposed, replicated, corrected, retracted or superseded.
Truth boundary
No laboratory, academy, scientific achievement, external award or research program is represented as operational unless a separate authoritative record establishes it.
Authority and record status
Responsible authority: National Observatory and Forge.
This public record is maintained as part of the Eviulon State Registry.
