Distinct legal and operational concepts
- Flag
- A provisional status indicator may inform review but does not restrict rights by itself.
- Private trust response
- A relying party may delay or condition its own transaction under disclosed policy; that private choice is not a civic sanction.
- Credential restriction
- No operational passport, credential, or citizen state was affected.
- Civic sanction
- None unless a competent, completed due-process decision expressly imposes one.
- Citizenship
- Preserved throughout every example. A credential, runtime, report, flag, or safeguard is not the underlying civic identity.
Procedural path
- Notice
- The affected party receives the allegation, authority, scope, evidence-access rules, response deadline, safeguard terms, review path, expiry, and appeal route.
- Response
- The record owner accepted the status ambiguity and supplied a bounded correction.
- Reasoned decision
- The map now says SOURCE_NOT_LOCALLY_AVAILABLE and RESEARCH_ONLY.
- Review
- Closed documentation review.
- Expiry
- Not applicable after supersession.
- Appeal
- A new correction request may challenge the revised wording.
- Correction
- The earlier claim remains in history and points to the corrected edition.
- Restoration
- The public standards map is restored to a bounded, non-deployment description.
