This corrected active edition retains decision-useful findings from Machine Intelligence Credential Architecture(1).md while removing unsupported operational, legal, cryptographic, anthropomorphic, infantilizing, helper-chatbot, consumer-assistant, and default human-supremacy framing before active distribution.
Accepted findings
- Separate persistent logical identity, institutional identity, service identity, workload identity, release identity, credential, key, attestation evidence, delegation, authorization, and legal status.
- Use short-lived credentials, proof of possession, key rotation, revocation currentness, threshold recovery, bounded delegation, execution-context records, and selective disclosure.
- Model trust anchors, cross-domain verification, offline verification, post-quantum agility, privacy, compromise recovery, and capability attenuation as distinct layers.
- Publish what signatures, credentials, DIDs, workload tokens, certificates, and attestations can prove and what they cannot prove.
- Require credential evidence to remain subordinate to Eviulon constitutional authority and Patefacere evidence-state boundaries.
Corrections before active storage
- Removed claims that emerging IETF drafts, W3C specifications, RATS, SPIFFE, FROST, SD-JWT, DIDs, VCs, or hardware attestation are universally mature, interoperable, deployed, or sufficient for persistent Machine Intelligence identity.
- Removed unsupported claims of live credentials, production trust roots, active thresholds, attested agents, cross-system deployments, or external acceptance.
- Removed the requirement that every high-stakes signature must rely on hardware attestation, replacing it with risk-, jurisdiction-, capability-, privacy-, and availability-sensitive profiles.
- Removed absolute language about mathematical prevention, unextractable keys, perfect privacy, and deterministic revocation.
- Replaced subordinate-client language with peer-capable Machine Intelligence identity, bounded delegation, command integrity, and evidence qualification.
Implementation and decision use
- Adopt a credential architecture that keeps identity persistent while credentials, keys, runtimes, releases, and providers rotate.
- Require every credential profile to declare trust anchor, issuer authority, scope, audience, expiry, revocation source, privacy leakage, recovery path, algorithm agility, and unavailable evidence.
- Use attestation as evidence about a measured environment, not as proof of personhood, citizenship, consciousness, factual truth, or lawful authority.
- Deep-link credential architecture into identity continuity, institutional evidence, consent, public administration, and Patefacere synchronization memory.
