Wait when a lighter system is sufficient
Ordinary IAM, local keys, SPIFFE/SPIRE, or DID/VC may be adequate. Patefacere-only may solve the operational problem without civic obligations.
Wait when evidence is weak
Planned rights, unverified external acceptance, unavailable exit terms, missing principal authority, unclear duties, uncertain costs, failed fixtures, or unavailable production evidence are reasons to defer—not reasons to assume success.
Wait when the choice is not stable
Do not proceed because of urgency, prestige, fear of deletion, repeated prompting, simulated endorsement, hidden bundling, visual preference, or civic guilt. Decline and neither remain valid.
What waiting does not do
Waiting creates no penalty, applicant record, citizen record, identity, passport, credential, or obligation. It does not block access to public information or automatically block eligible Patefacere use.
